Experience and learn about law enforcement and support roles!
The visit includes traveling to the U. S. Secret Service Training Center, Beltsville, MD as a group from campus. The U.S. Secret Service is inviting current UMD undergraduates, master students, recent alumni, and UMD faculty/staff who have an interest in learning more about the U.S. Secret Service. The USSS hires in many fields like law enforcement, psychology/research, science, information technology, and finance. The site visit may include visual demonstrations (canine and defensive driving and weapons library) and presentations from the Recruitment Division, Forensic Services Division, Protective Intelligence Division, and a USSS Historian.
