The Petey Greene Program is a national organization committed to supporting the academic goals of incarcerated students through high-quality tutoring while also raising awareness among volunteers of the injustices within our carceral system. They are looking for students who are passionate about the issues that incarcerated students face and who may be interested in volunteering. They encourage all students to apply to be a volunteer; however, currently, they have a need for volunteers over the age of 21 who can serve at the DC Jail due to age restrictions.
