This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer.
The primary purpose of this position is to perform developmental activities to assist with planning, designing, adapting, developing, acquiring, documenting, testing, implementing, integrating, strategies and executing human capital actions to fulfill training requirements supporting the OCRSO mission and to the scope set forth by management.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-7, your typical work assignments may include:
- Assists headquarters and field offices with planning and conducting studies and activity functions.
- Assists in evaluating the content of new or modified legislation for projected impact on agency programs.
- Provides technical assistance, support to headquarters and field management staff related to the mission requirements.
- Providing analytical support on problem definitions, planning, methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Assists in evaluating the content of new or modified legislation for projected impact on agency programs.
- Review submissions, authorizations, conformance with instructions, amendments, maintenance, and control of final planning.
- Assists in the design, implementation of planning, controls for submission of data, budget, program resource requests and recommendations.
- Identify effects on new or proposed legislations, executive orders, the Department of Homeland Security directives, and decisions on operations, managerial programs, and requirements.
