 Asset Protection Specialist

• Helps protect Wegmans assets and provides a safe and secure store environment for customers and employees.
• Effectively communicates with store management to implement an asset protection marketing strategy to maximize sales and contribution while reducing shrink due to theft.
• Responds to requests for service during emergency situations and provides ongoing support and guidance to both employees and customers.
• Analyzes departmental financial reports to identify and reduce causes of unknown shrink and communicates findings to store management and asset protection.
• Fosters a collaborative and professional relationship with community organizations and local law enforcement officials to increase safety and security awareness and measures.

Asset Protection Officer

• Protects the welfare and safety of Wegmans employees, visitors, and vendors with a strong emphasis on customer service.
• Responds to emergency situations and administers First Aid as needed.
• Investigates complaints and disturbances and writes reports of events occuring during shifts.
