Internship Opportunity - IGRS



Institute for Governmental Service and Research (IGSR)
Spring Internship Available

The Institute for Governmental Service and Research (IGSR) is looking for an upper-level undergraduate student to assist in preparing training materials for local law enforcement agencies and in data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, and literature reviews for studies of the court system, juvenile justice system, and substance abuse treatment programs.  We would prefer a student who can commit to at least 10 hours a week during business hours on weekdays, is a Criminology and Criminal Justice major, has completed at least 60 credit hours, and has a minimum 3.0 GPA.  IGSR is located on Hartwick Road, easily accessible to campus. This experience may be used for an internship for class credit and is an excellent opportunity for students looking for practical experience in research within the realm of criminal justice.   
 The Institute for Governmental Service and Research (IGSR) conducts applied research and provides consulting and technical assistance to improve policy and practice in public programs, with an emphasis on the criminal justice system.  To learn more about IGSR visit www.igsr.umd.edu.
