The FBI is seeking to hire Management and Program Analyst
(MAPA), a role general equivalent to that of a business analyst at private sector
corporations. MAPAs conduct evaluations
of government programs (operational or administrative), propose ways to make
these programs more effective and efficient by gathering and analyzing complex
data sets and identifying organizational impediments such as gaps in skill
sets, business process breakdowns, ineffective tools and poorly designed
decision-making structures that must be addressed to drive innovation and
improve performance.
Successful candidates will have a strong business acumen
(although not necessarily be business majors) and have a desire/motivation/orientation toward
public sector work, particularly the national security mission of the FBI. We are recruiting undergraduate students and
graduate students who are U.S. citizens.
