The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program will now be opening general admissions! General admissions will be open until all remaining slots are filled. The University of Maryland Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair Scholars Program) is designed to prepare primarily low-income, first-generation, and traditionally underrepresented students to pursue doctoral studies through involvement in research, scholarly activities, and mentorship. We encourage students who are interested in pursuing doctoral studies, conducting undergraduate research, and joining a community with other students of similar backgrounds and aspirations to apply to our program at the University of Maryland College Park.
