This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Washington DC Field Division/Special Support Unit.
This position primary purpose is to receive, document, store, and dispose of non-drug evidence and/or bulk marijuana for a Field Division.

Duties
As an Evidence Custodian your typical work assignments may include:
- Receiving, documents, stores, and disposes of non-drug evidence and/or bulk marijuana for a Field Division.
- Receiving and filing seized evidence from special agents and diversion investigators.
- Developing information, identifying interrelation ships, and taking action consistent with evidence control goals.
- Interpreting and adapting existing guidelines, regulations, and other documents issued by headquarters to a variety of evidence control situations.
- Creating and maintaining automated records of evidence and vault inventory.
- Creating and producing bar code labels on all items for chain of custody tracking.
