Gilman Study Abroad Scholarship for Pell Grant Recipients

  • Are you a Pell Grant recipient and U.S. citizen?
  • Are you thinking about studying abroad this Summer 2013, Fall 2013, or Fall/Spring 2013-14?
Learn about the Gilman International Scholarship, which provides up to $5,000 for Pell Grant recipients to study abroad.  In the past two years 59 Maryland students have won Gilman Scholarships!

The National Scholarships Office is holding a FINAL round of information sessions, as well as several walk-in sessions for application essay feedback: 

Information Sessions:

  • Monday, February 25 at 12:00PM

Eligibility: To be eligible for a Gilman Scholarship you must be:
  • A Pell Grant recipient
  • US Citizen
  • Planning to study abroad for at least 4 weeks
