Promise (3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing), College Park
BSOS students who have interned in Maryland, Washington,
D.C., New York City and Connecticut will be available to chat with their fellow
students one-on-one in an informal setting. Two program directors will be
available to help you navigate the University Career Center & The
President’s Promise website and introduce you to the many resources available
to you as a Maryland student. The BSOS internship coordinator will answer your
questions about where other BSOS students have interned in the past and are
interning currently.
Student Presenters have had successful internships in a
broad array of organizations including:
- The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History
- TV Guide Magazine
- Becky’s Fund
- Maryland General Assembly
- Clifford Beers Guidance Clinic
- James R Clarke Physical Therapy
