The University Book Center is the official supplier of
commencement regalia for the university, with Oak Hall as the official
provider.
The University Book Center, located in the Stamp Student
Union, is where students can purchase their graduate cap and gown and diploma frames.
Students are encouraged to purchase all of their commencement needs during the Grad Fair March 8-10 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Undergraduate and Master's Degree Students
Undergraduate and master's degree students must purchase
their regalia from the book center. The following items are required and sold
as a package:
- Cap
- Gown
- Departmental hood (Bachelor of Arts hood has a white velvet)
- Stole of gratitude
- Tassel with official medallion
The undergraduate package will cost $138.98 and the master's degree package will cost $149.98 during the Grad Fair, which is a 10% savings over the regular price.
Doctoral Students
Doctoral students may rent or buy their regalia. If you choose to rent your regalia, it must be picked up from the book center (shipping is not available). The cost to rent regalia is $220.98 and the cost to purchase regalia is $1002.98.
