Job Description:
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance. Will be required to undergo a CI polygraph.
- Knowledge of federal law enforcement, IC, Cybersecurity or general law enforcement investigations or operations.
- Experience using data analytics tools and databases.
- Developing and delivering professional-level reports, memorandums, information, briefings, and/or recommendations that support inquiries and investigations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Investigate complaints of fraud, waste and abuse, data spills, and network penetrations.
- Periodically conducts a review of each system’s audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.
- Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
- Respond to incidents or violations involving computers and cyber security.
- Evaluate system and program security vulnerabilities; develop procedures and countermeasures that protect operations.
- Incorporate all security disciplines; recommend and develop requirements, specifications, designs, and procedures that satisfy program security policy and planning guidance.
- Monitor implementation of security requirements for Government and Industry facilities and systems.
- Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and recommends additional security requirements and safeguards where required.
- Assists in the implementation of required government policy (e.g.,, NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and makes recommendations on process tailoring.
- Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to computer security and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and deliver professional investigative and analytical reports and briefings.
- Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports for obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.
- Performs assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
- Supports the formal Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Counterintelligence, Criminal justice, Engineering, Fraud investigations, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a Scientific field.
- Successful graduation from FLETC, DCITA, JCITA, DoD or other formal US Federal Government analysis courses or programs.

Salary Range:
$68,400.00 – $119,700.00
