Join the Maryland Mentor Corps (MMC)!
MMC is a program in the Leadership and Community Service Learning (LCSL) office in STAMP, partnering with Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) and nonprofit organizations to offer five unique mentoring programs that work with elementary and middle school students and their families.
MMC offers five academic enrichment programs:
- Maryland Reading Program
- Maryland Math Program
- Maryland Family Literacy Program
- Higher Achievement Middle School Program
- Latino Student Fund K-5 Virtual Tutoring
Mentors work one-on-one or in small groups with local students in either math, literacy, or conversational skills.

No previous tutoring or mentoring experience is required and transportation is provided.
